2020 Qualifiers

Lead Rein Competitors Please be aware that as a club we are allowing ponies up to 13.2hh, however you need to check with the appropriate qualifiers the heights in which you can compete as most will not allow ponies bigger then 12.2hh 

 

ESUK

All of this years shows will be qualifiers for ESUK grassroots championships taking place at Arean UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 6th to the 9th of August 2020. The three highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class. Please note any qualifications after the 2020 championships can be transferred into the following year and will qualify for 2021.

Royal London Show

All of this years shows will also be running qualifiers to Royal London.

First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show to be held at The College Equestrian Centre, Keysoe, Beds MK44 2JP on 18th – 20th September 2020. If a horse/pony has already qualified, cards may be handed down to 6th place at judge’s discretion. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 21 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required.

Concours D’ Elegance (29th March, 7th June, 12th July & 30th August)

First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at Addington Manor, Buckingham on Sunday 13th September 2020. If a horse/pony has already qualified, cards may be handed down to 6th place at judge’s discretion. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Championship Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the Concours D’Elegance Society within 21 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required.

STARS Champion of Champions 

At the end of this year we have affiliated to STARS South which will be held at Addington Manor Equestrian Center, Addington, Buckingham, MK18 2JR on the 14th and 15th of November 2020.

Open Show 12th July Qualifiers 2020

Coloured Horse and Pony Society

The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK) No. 
Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to qualify both owner and rider/exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card.
The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 28th — 31st August 2019. Shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date of Championship Show will count as 2020 qualifiers.
Classes 10 and 11 are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers.  All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception

EQUIFEST

The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground on the 19th – 22nd August 2020. 

Qualifiers for Equifest 2020 will run from the 1st August 2019 – 31st July 2020. Qualifiers after the 31st July 2020 will be qualifiers for the 2021 Show.

Veteran Horse Society

The open show will be running Veteran Horse Society qualifiers, we will have a VHS approved judge for these classes.  More information to follow.
